Abstract

In May 2021,Jawa Barat Composite CPI covering 7 municipalities, namely Bogor municipality, Sukabumi municipality, Bandung municipality, Cirebon municipality, Bekasi municipality, Depok municipality and Tasikmalaya municipality experienced an increase in the index. Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 107.37 in April 2021 to 107.78 in May 2021; thus inflation of 0.38 percent occurred.

The inflation rate for the calendar year "year to date" (January - May 2021) was 0.96 percent and the inflation rate from year to year "year on year" (May 2021 to May 2020) was recorded at 2.03 percent.
