Employment Situation in Banjar Municipality August 2024

The number of the workforce in August 2024 was 109,604 people, an increase of 680 people compared to August 2023. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) fell by 0.22 percentage points from 67.44 percent to 67.22 percent. The working population is 103,637 people, an increase of 627 people from August 2023.

The employment sector that experienced the largest increase was the service sector, which was 6.03 percent compared to August 2023. Meanwhile, the employment sector that experienced the largest decrease was the agricultural sector, which was -7.87 percent compared to August 2023. A total of 44,000 people (42.71 percent) worked in formal activities, an increase of 8,007 people compared to August 2022.
